The Ed Murray Club Challenge
First annual competition between golf clubs in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. The purpose is to raise money to support First Tee Central Coast.
WHEN: The week of Monday October 19th through Sunday October 25th, 2020.
WHERE: At the golf course of your choice within SB or SLO counties.
FORMAT:
- Two Person teams. (Men, Women or Mixed)
- One best gross ball and one best net ball for each twosome. Gross and Net calculated to Par.
- Best Three Gross best ball scores at your course from all entries will be entered in the gross category and the Best Three Net best ball scores at your course from all entries will be entered in net category.
- A team can qualify for both gross and net if both their scores are in the top three.
- Handicap based on the tees you play using GHIN Handicap for Monday October 19th (for the week)
DETAILS:
- Play the course you want to represent.
- Play any time the week of Monday October 19th to Sunday October 25th.
- Participants will pay their own green’s fees and cart fees at the course you play.
- Entry $200 per person donation to First Tee Central Coast.
- Each Club’s best three gross teams are entered into club Gross Championship
- Each Club’s best three Net Teams are entered into club Net Championship
- If possible, twosomes should play with another twosome in the event. If not please have your score attested.
PRIZES:
- You will receive a tee prize.
- A Perpetual trophy for gross and net club winners will be awarded to each club
- Lowest 6 players on winning team gross and net will receive $250 certificate to club’s shop
- 2nd place in each category will receive $100 gift certificate to club’s shop
- Rounds of golf will be awarded to winning teams as well.
